In our diverse world, all people on the planet have things in common. According to the famous Maslow’s hierarchy (see below), people have needs that must be met in order to survive and prosper.
Needs must be met in a certain order starting with the most basic. We all breath the same air, we need to eat food and we need clothing etc. Next after that, we need shelter, family and so on. Once each need is met, starting with the base level, a person’s goal is to move up to the next level and so on.
Those in third world countries or who are impoverished, may only ever stay in level 1, and touch areas of levels 2 and 3, but not much more.
The people in industrialized nations, or the more wealthy, usually have a solid foundation and are able to strive for higher levels.
But, the top level is the most difficult to obtain, and most people may never get there in a lifetime. As I have found in life, the top level, self-actualization, may never end, but we all strive to continually grow in this space.
For each of us, the top level could come in various forms that can satisfy this goal. They key to this result is how we see the world ourselves and how we evolve as individuals, which takes TIME.
Wherever or whoever we are in life, TIME is one of the most important commodities we have. TIME for family, TIME for reflection, TIME to do things we enjoy, even just to relax, we only have a set amount for any and all of these things. We can’t buy back TIME, but we can create more of it by saving it.
Businesses that can save people TIME provide value. Why should someone tie up this precious commodity when they don’t have too?
If a business can provide a service that allows the user to save TIME for other things, that value can be considered priceless.
TIME is one of the things we will save for our customers at Warranty Life, stay tuned.
