As the motto goes, doing things right the first time saves you lots of time and aggravation down the road.
I’ve learned this to be true in many cases. Whether you are building something, learning a new skill, washing your car etc, taking the time to do it right results in saving you time and stress at a later date….always.
This is no different when people buy products or services, many of which come with some type of warranty.
However, most people don’t track their purchase properly and in many cases don’t take advantage of this when the unit has problems. while spending loads of time sifting through shoe boxes looking for purchase information, identifying the procedural process, calling the retailer & manufacturer, perhaps only to find out the product is not covered.
Is it still under warranty? What is covered? If it is covered, what do I do next? Where do I find all this information? What about the extended warranty?
